A fascinating guy with a love of surfing since 6 years old, Brad set off from his native South Africa to London in the hopes of becoming a surf photographer. He is a self -taught digital developer, and these skills have allowed him to travel the world working, photographing, writing, and surfing. Brad is ‘In his Element’ when he can get into flow state – from leading a workshop to catching a wave. He loves the ocean which he says has taught hm many skills including courage and patience.
Brad’s writing has been featured in international business and travel magazines, including several cover stories. He has authored multiple books and presents keynotes, seminars and workshops. He founded Surfd.com surfing magazine in 2002 and continues to work on creative projects including directing a documentary about the transformative power of surf therapy.
The Resilience Institute has authored a Global Resilience Report detailing results from over 21,000 assessments from across the world.
